- Barrel Point Surf is an established water-sports brand from New Zealand. BPS needed a comprehensive re-think of their branding and brand content - everything from the brand identity down to the logo. It was imperative for the client to create an easily adaptable brand identity that would not over-power the products' design while differentiating the brand from the competition. The brand has a unique approach to customer experience that needed to be reflected across all the work.

At THE113 - strategy is the key to a comprehensive branding project. We began by working with the client to gather necessary information and then commenced our own research. This enabled us to develop various concepts of brand directions and decide on the appropriate elements to build the identity system. The next step was creating brand elements and working with the client's revisions.
The BPS Brand Book was the outcome. A comprehensive branding strategy and manual covering the brand statement, tone of voice, logo, typography, color palette, style of photos, and most importantly - the BPS Wave concept, which provides structure and consistency to the entire branding and connects all the content pieces. The main goal was to create an identity that doesn't take focus away from the quality of BPS products. The branding is full of energy and colors inspired by nature; the logo and typography are modern and minimal. We also produced a set of illustrations and print designs for BPS.
We took a strategic, big-picture view of the client's listing. Everything from copy, design, and photos helped us create a unified and convincing sales page. Highly converting content and compelling sales copy make the product highly competitive and, most importantly, stand the test of time within the category.
A+ content allows you to expand your content estate on your listing resulting in improved conversions and the possibility to promote your brand and product range. Optimized A+ pages increase conversions on average by around 30-40% resulting in more sales. An average Amazon listing page have around 100x clickable links and photos, so populating it with your original content helps to maintain customers’ focus on your offering and limit drop rates.
